United Way of Greater Portland names board members

United Way of Greater Portland announced the election to its board of directors of Shawn Gorman, vice president of card services and direct to business, L.L. Bean, and Jacquelyn Hedlund, M.D., medical director, Maine Medical Center Cancer Institute.

The United Way of Greater Portland has been serving the needs of the community for over 80 years. Through fundraising and funding of 43 Partner agencies in the health and human services sector, together with its own initiatives, the organization works to achieve community-wide change that improves the education, income and health of greater Portland residents.
